OUR CHURCH DURING LOCKDOWN
We are continuing to meet with the church body online for times of fellowship and prayer and we are streaming our Sunday services live on Facebook. We are really praying for the church body during this time to stay strong spiritually. Although the government has allowed the churches to open, they have put many restrictions in doing so. Due to children under 15 not being allowed to attend, we have decided not yet to open. Most of our church is made up of families with young children and would not be able to attend. We are praying that by November the restrictions will have lightened up so that we can finally meet together as the body of Christ.
It is possible for us to obtain our permanent resident cards this year and the boys to obtain theirs next year in 2021. This would mean that we would no longer need to go through this long and expensive process twice a year and would have permission to live here long-term and also gain many rights such as being able to own things in our name like our car! How amazing would that be! Please keep this in your prayers that this wouldn’t change and would be true to when it comes time for our next renewal process.
We will be having our time of furlough in October. We ask for prayer for health, safe travels, rest, our hearts would be refreshed, and opportunities to share and stir others in the faith and about missions.
