NEW SANCTUARY CONSTRUCTION
We are nearing the end of the construction phase for the new sanctuary. Please keep this construction phase in your prayers that everything is done in excellence. We are now saving any funds that are donated to the church to use to finish up these last projects. We soon look forward to meeting in there for services after the lockdown is over.
OUR CHURCH DURING LOCKDOWN
We are meeting with our body online for times of fellowship and prayer and we are streaming our Sunday services live on Facebook. We are really praying for the church body during this time to stay strong spiritually. Our hope is that the doors of the churches will be allowed to open soon.
It is possible for us to obtain our permanent resident cards this year and the boys to obtain theirs next year in 2021. This would mean that we would no longer need to go through this long and expensive process twice a year and would have permission to live here long-term and also gain many rights such as being able to own things in our name like our car! How amazing would that be! Please keep this in your prayers that this wouldn’t change and would be true to when it comes time for our next renewal process.
EFFECTS FROM CRISTOBAL TROPICAL STORM
We have been fighting mildew in the church since tropical storm Cristobal hit us in the first week of June. We clean daily at the church property to disinfect any mildew keeps returning. We are praying that the grounds and buildings completely dry up and that the mildew is only a temporary issue.
